The Boulder International Fringe Festival is a unique and unexpected way to enjoy works of art throughout the Boulder community. For 12 days every year, theater auditoriums, art galleries, coffee shops, libraries, churches… even rooftops and taxis play host to artists.
The Fringe Festival was originally established to give rebel artists a means of expression. Now, it gives practicing Boulder artists, locals and visitors the chance to see art from all over the country. Experience dance, performance art, film, magic, poetry and even fashion at this year’s Boulder International Fringe Festival! This amazing festival encourages artistic expression and artistic development and provides plenty of family-oriented events. Sing, dance or laugh it up with one of many comedy acts. Romp at a burlesque show. Step out of the norm and into the world of experimental art and culture from all over the world!
From enhancing the artistic community to boosting the local economy, the Boulder International Fringe Festival is an important event in Downtown Boulder each year. Performances will leave you breathless, intrigued, curious, and excited. Experience workshops, speak with the artists, or visit a community mixer.
