| The Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art was founded in 1972 and is located in a historically land-marked, warehouse building in the heart of downtown Boulder. Since 1972 the museum has exhibited contemporary art by regional, national and international artists presented in three galleries and a 100-set black-box theater. The Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art is a dynamic venue dedicated to the presentation of significant art of our time. Through an innovative program of regional, national, and international exhibition and performance, the museum inspires and educates its communities and visitors from around the world to explore the forefront and evolution of contemporary art. The Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art is located at 1750 13th Street in downtown Boulder. Admission is $4 for adults; $3 for students and seniors. Free to museum members and children under 12.
