Our Story

Carelli’s is the classic American success story. In 1991 Greg Carelli opened an Italian sub sandwich shop in the William’s Village Shopping Center. It was a surprisingly simple recipe that’s the Carelli’s trademark to this day: food made with the freshest and finest-quality ingredients, served with exceptional customer service. Carelli’s popularity has steadily burgeoned through three expansions and two remodels.

Today, Carelli’s offers an outstanding and authentic experience in an unpretentious classic Italian atmosphere that is spacious and intimate, as well as award-winning decor…

Our Restaurant

Together with his father Gene Carelli, Greg created an unparalleled space cited for “Best Design” by the American Institute of Architects. The restaurant features a 360-degree fireplace, natural Manitou slate, light birchwood appointments, and an outdoor patio with a plush high-backed banquette. Warmer weather brings the opportunity to dine al fresco on Carelli’s patio. The restaurant’s stunning décor is matched by friendly, flawless service and a menu that combines the best from both traditional and contemporary cuisines of northern and southern Italy. An extensive wine list beautifully complements the acclaimed menu. Perfectly suited for couples, families and festive gatherings, it’s no wonder that Carelli’s, after all these years, is still earning the attention of Boulder’s dining aficionados.
