Galleries in Boulder

Such scenes that capture the attention of visitors are also inspiration for Boulder's community of talented and prolific artists. Boulder's countless art galleries are filled with paintings, sculptures and photographs masterfully capturing these subjects and a vast array of others. In fact, Boulder art galleries represent some of the finest artists from around the globe, making this the perfect spot to gallery hop.

Pearl Street is lined with dozens of art galleries. For local works, be sure to stop in Art Mart and the Boulder Arts & Crafts Cooperative for flawless photographs of the Flatirons, beautiful woodcarvings, hand-woven textiles and much more. The SmithKlein Gallery is a well-known spot for a keenly curated selection of contemporary paintings, sculptures and glass art by artists from across the country. Likewise, Art & Soul Gallery is another gallery known for its tasteful selection of emotion-evoking contemporary works by a wide variety of artists. While these are a few of the more well-known Boulder art galleries, you'll find plenty of other gems by searching our listings and simply strolling through downtown.

Another fun way to view the work of Boulder artists is to participate in the Open Studios Fall Artist Tour, during which artists open their studios and homes to guests for the first two weekends in October. Visitors have a chance to interact with Boulder's most creative residents in their private work spaces.
