    Dining Safely in Boulder

How Boulder Restaurants Are Open During COVID-19

Boulder's restaurants are open and have made adjustments to ensure your safety when you're ready to dine out again.

The City of Boulder has closed certain streets that would normally be open to cars in order to allow restaurants to expand out into the street for open-air, socially distanced seating.

This expanded, on-street patio dining is available on Pearl Street between 11th and 9th Streets and on The Hill, at Pennsylvania Ave. and 13th Street.

    Safety Measures
    • 50% of capacity or 50 patrons
    • Tables are at least six feet apart
    • Surfaces are required to be cleaned and disinfected for every turnover
    • Staff are required to wear face coverings
    • Many restaurants are using technology, such as order by phone from your table, to reduce contact with waitstaff
    • Last call for alcohol is at 11pm

Many restaurants are offering outdoor seating, even in winter, with space heaters nearby.
