Boulder's restaurants are open and have made adjustments to ensure your safety when you're ready to dine out again.
The City of Boulder has closed certain streets that would normally be open to cars in order to allow restaurants to expand out into the street for open-air, socially distanced seating through October 2021.
This expanded, on-street patio dining is available on Pearl Street between 11th and 9th Streets and on The Hill, at Pennsylvania Ave. and 13th Street.
Restaurants are allowed to operate at 100% capacity with no further restrictions. Many restaurants are using technology, such as order-by-phone from your table, to reduce contact with waitstaff.
Boulder's face mask order was recently lifted for vaccinated people, but this is very new and many businesses are proceeding with caution, so please be prepared to wear one, if required by the business, unless you are eating or drinking.
Many restaurants are offering outdoor seating, with space heaters nearby if it gets chilly. Several restaurants also have individual pods, yurts or tents.
Order up some amazing food and enjoy it on a picnic or wherever you feel most comfortable. Most Boulder restaurants are able to accommodate takeout orders.
