    How To Drive-In

    Summer 2020

    BIFF DRIVE-IN RULES

The safety of our staff and patrons is our first priority. In accordance with current State, County & City regulations regarding COVID-19, we have implemented extra measures to minimize contact and reduce the likelihood of transmission. As circumstances change in the future, we may be able to adjust some of these policies. If you’re feeling sick, please stay at home and take care of yourself. We’ll see you next time!

For questions, please call the BIFF Box Office at 303-746-7268.

Tickets & Check-In: To reduce contact, all tickets must be purchased online at biff1.com. No cash or card transactions on-site.

Tickets are sold PER VEHICLE, not per person. The price is $30 per vehicle, plus a small processing fee. A limited number of single-occupant tickets will be available at $15 per vehicle. Sorry, no campers or buses. No refunds or exchanges.

Tickets will be scanned at the entrance through a closed car window. Please hold your printed tickets or mobile phones up to the window.

A colored tag will be placed under your windshield wiper, corresponding to the height of your vehicle.

The gates will close shortly after sunset (about 8:45). For safety reasons, no cars will be admitted after the lot is closed. We suggest arriving early for spaces closer to the screen.

Parking: Cars will be parked so that there is a 9-foot space between vehicles. Our staff will help direct you to the appropriate color-coded parking section based on your vehicle’s height. High-profile vehicles will need to park at the back to ensure that they do not obstruct the view of smaller/ lower vehicles. All vehicles must face forward; no vehicle may back into a space.  Please see map.

The decision to direct your car to a specific space is at the discretion of the lot staff. Once parked, you may not drive away until instructed by event staff. No engine idling is permitted.

Cars may not leave before the film has ended. Please be patient!

In the event of an urgent need to leave, please call 303-746-7268 to alert Drive-In staff so that we may assist to you to exit the facility safely and with minimal disruption.

Sound: Audio will be broadcast via the FM radio in your vehicle. The frequency will be given to you at check-in. Please check your tuning before the film begins. Sound is broadcast in FM only; apps on mobile devices will not work. You can also bring a portable radio as a backup. If you are using your car stereo, set your key to auxiliary mode so you don’t drain the battery. No engine idling during the film. We will have a portable car battery charger available just in case.

Lighting: Headlights and exterior lighting must be off during the movie, no exceptions. Please research how to shut off your lights before arriving at the Drive-In.

Stay in Vehicle: You must stay inside your vehicle at all times. Do not set up chairs or blankets outside your vehicle. Do not sit in the back of pickup trucks or open tailgates or hatches. All doors must remain closed. You cannot socialize between vehicles or in groups. At this time, we are only allowed to offer admission to cars; no walk-ins, bikes, lawn chairs, blankets, or additional outdoor seating.

Masks: All staff will wear masks at all times. We ask you to wear a mask when outside of your vehicle.

Concessions: Food will not be available for purchase at this time. You are welcome to bring your own food and non-alcoholic beverages. Grab take-out from a local restaurant!

Restrooms: We will have 2 portable toilets at the back of the lot; no more than 6 people may be in line for the restroom at a time. Those waiting must maintain 6’ spacing while in line. Please leave and return to your car using proper social distancing protocols. We will have an attendant stationed outside the restrooms who will re-sanitize them after each use. Hand sanitizer will be available.

Smoking/Alcohol: Smoking (of any kind), E-cigarettes and alcohol are not permitted.

Trash: This is a zero trash event. Please plan to take your trash with you.

Pets: Pets are not allowed, as we are discouraging the need to be outside of your vehicle.

Weather: The show will go on if it rains! In the event of sustained rain, high wind or severe weather during the movie, please shelter in your car. Cars will not be allowed to exit the lot until it is safe to do so, and only under the direction of Drive-In staff. If weather is such that we cannot continue or hold a screening, you will receive a “raincheck” for a future screening.

Be kind to fellow patrons and to our staff – most of whom are volunteering to help make the Drive-In possible.

    HAVE FUN!

Violations: ANY violation of these policies will result in you being asked to leave. We must all comply with these guidelines in order to maintain a safe experience for everyone. Thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation.
