After careful deliberation and discussions with local municipalities and community partners, we have decided to move the festival to July 31st through August 2nd. Team Player Productions, along with the City of Boulder, have worked together closely to choose a new date for the festival due to the ongoing situation surrounding Coronavirus (COVID-19).
Our top priority is the health and safety of guests, volunteers, community partners, vendors, and staff. We want to give the community a chance to recover, and when we’re ready, we will celebrate with a big summer event. The Boulder Creek Festival is a community tradition we will keep alive, regardless of the weekend it falls on. In choosing the new date for the festival, several factors needed to be taken into account. We wanted to be far enough away from the original date that people would feel safe and excited about coming to the festival. We chose the end of July to give our businesses and partners a strong weekend to shine.
To continue to support these small businesses and partners, we have launched the Virtual Marketplace on our website. The Marketplace features all festival vendors, many of which have capabilities for online shopping. The Boulder Creek Fest is a wonderful platform for the local business community; help us show support as Boulder bounces back from this unprecedented time. Please continue to support our small businesses and we can keep the spirit of the event alive until we can all celebrate together.
For over thirty years, the Boulder Creek Festival® has been the unofficial kickoff to summer in Boulder. Widely considered Boulder County’s favorite event, the Festival includes three days of festivities featuring a large variety of events, activities, food and entertainment unique to the Boulder community.
