On September 20th, Boulder Food Rescue will host their 7th annual Food Rescue Feast fundraising event at the Jewish Community Center in Boulder. Each year, over 250 people gather to celebrate food justice and raise funds to support Boulder Food Rescue's food redistribution programs.
This year will feature drinks from Twisted Pine Brewing Company, Avery Brewing Company, West Flanders Brewing Co., Montucky Cold Snacks, Vapor Distillery, Hazel's Beverage World, Doctor D's Sparkling Probiotic Beverages, Mortal Kombucha, and Conscious Coffees.
There will be many options for food, featuring an all you can eat Indian food feast and special on-site local chef-prepared appetizers from Black Cat, Boulder Kitchen Collective, PastificioBoulder, and Three Leaf Catering, all inspired by BFR's participant-driven recipe book!
Other event highlights include a robust silent auction featuring over 100 items, live Latin music from Mono Verde Collective, a photo booth, yard games, and community connections. The event is family-friendly (kids can attend for free!) and brings together current donors, food recipients, and volunteers to mingle, as well as providing an opportunity for new community members to support and learn more about BFR's program and mission.
