A program geared towards those in recovery, join us for a morning at Light Root Community farm - a regenerative, draft-horse powered farm and dairy located on 60 acres of Open Space and Mountain Parks (OSMP) farmland in Boulder, CO. Join OSMP naturalist David Ford, recovery coach Brian Klink, and recovery veteran Jim Veraldi as we team up with husband and wife farmer team, Cameron Genter and Daphne Kingsley, on a journey to see how the practice of harvesting and giving back to the land relates to a sustainable recovery process. This interactive farm experience explores their small grass-based dairy, and how they rejuvenate the health of their fields. Get inspired hearing their story and how a connection to the community drives their social mission.
