    Something New, Something Old, Something Fast, Something Slow



    When you hike in Open Space, do you expect to encounter the same scene year after year? Are the Flatirons forever? Are flowers fleeting? Can a hummingbird dive as fast as a mountain lion can run? Join us on this moderate hike to learn about fleetness and longevity, swiftness and slowness, in the eternal yet ever-changing world of Open Space and Mountain Parks. Be prepared to be surprised! This hike is suitable for ages 9 to 90.

    Parking can be difficult at Chautauqua. The City offers a free shuttle from free parking locations in Downtown Boulder and other areas on weekends, from May 25 through September 2, every 15 minutes from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Follow this link for more information:
