In art, "negative space" is the space around and between the subject of an image. R Gallery’s newest exhibit, “Use of Negative Space” currently on display features a diverse array of artwork which utilizes negative space to create striking compositions and accentuate the primary subject matter in interesting ways. By unexpectedly employing the open space surrounding the central object in a work of art, artists create pieces that are both aesthetically balanced and eye-catching.
The show runs through February 28, 2021. R Gallery is open Tuesday through Sunday from 11 am to 6 pm. The gallery is closed Mondays.
