When You See a Snake... Virtual Event

    Overview

    Overview

SNAKE! EEEEK!! Does that describe you when you see a snake? Join OSMP Naturalist Betty Naughton for a virtual program to hear about the 12 species of snakes that live in this area. The prairie rattlesnake is the only venomous species in Boulder County - you’ll learn how best to avoid them. The other snakes in our area are quite harmless (unless you are a mouse!) You’ll hear some of the fascinating life stories and adaptations of our local snakes. Registered participants will be sent a link to the virtual meeting space prior to the program start date.

Registration is required for this activity.

Programs are free and open to all. (But please don't bring your dog.) Groups can sign up for free programs led by OSMP staff and volunteers. Visit the Request a Program page to learn more.
