Boulder-based Frequent Flyers® presents the international Aerial Dance Festival — now in its 19th year — providing an opportunity for people from all walks of life to experience the joy of dancing in the air through classes and performances. It's a completely unique festival, and one that's open to everyone, from beginners to advanced aerial dancers and all-ages audiences. Frequent Flyers®, a non-profit aerial-dance company, has been delighting audiences locally, around the U.S. and abroad for 29 years.
Two weeks of of classes, lectures, demonstrations, workshops, informal discussions and performances by internationally recognized artists provide a wonderful immersion in aerial dance.

For audiences, experience the best in aerial dance with artists from the U.S. and Canada presenting new work in the Showcase Performances at the Dairy Arts Center. Join a sneak peek of the Showcase Performances in one of the best values at the festival: Intimate Encounters, in which the artists will demonstrate their art and answer questions from the audience in an up-close environment at Frequent Flyers’ studio (3022 E. Sterling Cir) on Monday, July 31, 2017.
Want to try a class? There are opportunities for beginners through advanced/professional aerialists. How about bungee dancing? Or beginning low-flying trapeze, handstands, mixed-aerial apparatus for beginners or beginning Lyra? Held at Frequent Flyers’ Aerial Dance Studios, Dairy Arts Center and on the CU Boulder Campus, these classes are a terrific way to get in shape and have fun.
Complete schedule and info on tickets and class registration are available on Frequent Flyers' website.
Tickets for the Showcase Performances go on sale in mid-June 2017. Tickets for Intimate Encounters are available at the door only.
