    Boulder Creek Path

    Bike to Breweries in Boulder

What do you get when you combine two of Boulder's top passions — biking and beer? Absolute fun and a true taste of local culture. Here's just one route (of many) that will take you to several Boulder breweries by bike. Boulder's city buses, including the Hop and Jump that have stops along this route, have bike racks should you get tuckered out and need a lift.

    • Start your Boulder Bike to Brewery Tour on Pearl Street Mall and grab a bite and a brew at West Flanders, Oskar Blues, Boulder Beer on Walnut, The Post or Mountain Sun.
    • After fueling up, ride the Boulder Creek path, downhill and east towards Upslope Brewing. Stop by Fate along the way.
    • Tired after trying some of Upslope's 20+ different beers? Head back to downtown by using a city bus (all city buses can accommodate bicycles). The bus route that goes along Arapahoe Road is called the Jump bus.
    • Want more beer? Retrace your steps on the Goose Creek Path but detour after Foothills Highway towards J Wells, Deviant Spirits and VisionQuest. Then on to Boulder Beer, Colorado’s first microbrewery. Sanitas Brewing and Twisted Pine are five minutes away from here.
    • Now that you’ve thoroughly tasted some of Boulder’s best brews, complete your circle by heading back to Pearl Street, stopping at BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse on the way. You can take the Boulder Creek Path again, or take the Hop bus from Twenty Ninth Street shopping center. (The Hop runs a convenient circuit through downtown, University of Colorado, The Hill and Twenty Ninth Street.)
