See Your TripWith the group of cheftestants narrowed down to 13, the quick-fire challenge to deconstruct a Denver omelet is sudden death, meaning one competitor will be going home right off the bat. Chef Lachlan McKinnon-Patterson, of Boulder’s Frasca Food and Wine and Pizzeria Locale, judges their attempts to think beyond the classic Denver omelet. Lachlan is a James Beard Award-winning chef with restaurants on Pearl Street that began the elevation of the Colorado dining scene in 2004.
After one chef is sent home, enter Boulderite Hosea Rosenberg, "Top Chef" Season 5 winner and owner of Blackbelly and, newly opened, Santo. Hosea introduces the episode’s elimination challenge: a food truck challenge for college students in Boulder with a surprise guest judge, Logan Paul (a YouTube vlogger with followers in the millions). The next morning, the cheftestants drive to Boulder to serve 150 hungry college kids. Two trucks are safe and two are on the chopping block… watch the episode on Bravo to see what happens!
