Ready to Welcome the World, December 2022

The University of Colorado Boulder and United Nations Human Rights are co-hosting the inaugural Right Here, Right Now Global Climate Summit, December 1-4, 2022.

We're so proud to help host this distinguished group. Let’s roll out the welcome mat!

Visit Boulder has developed an educational program to help prepare you and your staff to welcome these guests, and all visitors, to Boulder.

How the Training Works

Great for hotel, restaurant, retail and tourism staff who interact with guests, the online curriculum focuses on things to see and do in Boulder and creating an inclusive environment for all.

The training is delivered via a virtual platform designed for ease of access 24/7. It includes four components:

  • Providing a Warm Welcome
  • Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
  • Boulder's Story
  • Top Things to Do
  • Putting Hospitality Into Practice

Upon completion, each participant will earn a certificate of recognition which will open up additional opportunities for in-destination learning, networking and industry perks.

We are so proud of our friendly tourism community and know that everyone has the capacity for excellence fitting of our noble hospitality industry. Our work matters. What we do matters. Thank you for all you do to create a warm welcome to visitors!
