Shhh. Listen closely and you can almost hear Boulder's vast cycling community uttering a collective "right on." The rumors are true: The Super Bowl of cyclocross is coming to Boulder.
The 2014 Cyclocross National Championships will hit the sun-drenched trails and jumps of the jaw-dropping Valmont Bike Park - built in 2012 with events just like this in mind - all within view of Boulder's famous Flatirons at the feet of the spectacular Rocky Mountains.
The only thing better than the ideal course? A ridiculously fun town to explore before, during and after the race.
We'll spare you the complete list of Boulder's accolades (one of Bicycling magazine's Best Bike Cities, Bon Appetit's America's Foodiest Town, Outdoor magazine's No. 1 Sports Town) - you've just got to get here and see for yourself.
