Shopping local is the Boulder way, and Small Business Saturday is a great day to join in. Head to Pearl Street, where historic buildings are filled with boutiques and indie shops, plus cute eateries, bookstores, and coffee shops. Holiday lights will be twinkling overhead. Don’t forget to explore “off the bricks” on West Pearl and East Pearl, too.

Shop the Makers Year-Round
If there's not a gift market or artisan fair going on while you're in town, don't worry. There are lots of places to shop made-in-Boulder gifts, including Art Mart, a sprawling shop packed with colorful gifts, and Ramble Marketplace, which not only has inspired finds by local makers but also provides employment opportunities for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. On East Pearl Street (between 17th and 21st streets), you'll find a cluster of makers: Bohemi (jewelry made on site), Sherpani (bags designed in Boulder) and Angie Star (jewelry).
