  • Take a tour at the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR). The rust-colored buildings are a fixture on South Boulder's horizon, with architecture designed by I.M. Pei (who also designed the Louvre pyramids in Paris). Inside, you can see some of the world's most advanced computers, touch a simulated tornado and admire beautiful views.

Ride the SKIP Bus

The SKIP bus runs an easy route up and down Broadway — all the way from North Boulder, through downtown and to South Boulder — making it a great way to get to and from South Boulder. The Transit app will give you real-time updates and help you plan your trip.
