    Chocolate and Spirits Pairing

    J & L Distillery and Shanao Cacao are bringing craft spirits and craft chocolate together for a special Valentine’s Day pairing. You'll be treated to a distillery tour and explanation of the distilling process, a brief overview of bean-to-bar chocolate making, fun and interactive tasting of craft chocolate from different parts of the world, a spirit flight, and four distinct cocktail samples paired with each unique single-origin-bean chocolate.

    Wild Woods Brewery and Piece, Love and Chocolate will be teaming up this Valentine's Day for a special event at Wild Woods. Three 5-ounce specialty imperial beers will be paired with three gourmet vegan chocolate truffles. Pairings available 4-9pm (last seating at 8pm). $18 per person.     BRU Handbuilt Ales & Eats invites you to enjoy five courses of hop- and barley-inspired cuisine, each paired with a refreshing ale. The menu sounds delish, with oysters, lamb and a baked-to-order chocolate cake for two. Reservations required.

    Valentine's Day Tea

    Bring your loved ones and join the Chautauqua Dining Hall for Valentine Afternoon Tea service starting at 2pm. You will receive a tower of Valentine-inspired, tea-time treats along with a pot of premium loose leaf tea. $25 per adult and $15 for children 12 and under. Reservations recommended.

Join Bookcliff Vineyards on this special occasion for a memorable five-course dinner prepared by chef Willem DeFroy. Each course will be perfectly paired with wine from Bookcliff Vineyards. As a special treat, a harpist will accompany the dinner for your enjoyment. $90 includes tax and tip.

    Le French Affaire: A Valentine's Opera Cabaret

    This Boulder Opera event, hosted at eTown Hall, is an ode to the café cabaret culture of early-20th-century Paris. A special arrangement of arias, trios and duets from the French Romantic period will be brought to life by the Boulder Opera Company, and a sweet dessert is included for guests. Featuring BOC mezzo-sopranos Elizabeth Hayes and Dianela Acosta, and sopranos Phoenix Gayles and Lydia Arenas. Accompaniment by Nathalia Kato. $28 tickets.

    "Disenchanted!" The Musical

    Poisoned apples. Glass slippers. Who needs ’em? Not Snow White and her posse of disenchanted princesses in the hilarious hit musical that’s anything but Grimm. Forget the princesses you think you know and say hello to "Disenchanted!," a musical comedy satire that gives fairy tales the bird. Enjoy this show and dinner at Boulder Dinner Theater's BDT Stage.     Make an Old-Fashioned Valentine

    Stop by the Museum of Boulder and make handmade valentines using vintage designs from the museum's collection! They will provide all of the materials, so you can send personal notes to your loved ones near and far this Valentine's Day. The event is free with museum admission. Drop in anytime from 2-4pm. Appropriate for all ages.

    Make a Light-Up Valentine's Day Card

    Learn how to make your own light up Valentine cards by using copper tape, a battery, and LEDs! This Boulder Public Library Maker Space will introduce you to basic circuits while crafting a unique light-up card. Make one for your Valentine or to keep for yourself.     Valentine's Day Yoga for Couples

    This all-levels workshop at Radiance Power Yoga is designed to promote intimacy, trust, play, nurturing, discovery and fun. You don't need to be flexible, athletic or experienced at yoga. The workshop will include some easy and supportive partner yoga poses, some Thai Yoga massage and a little acrobatic flying. $38 per couple.
