Stout Month

February
More than ten rotating taps at Mountain Sun and Southern Sun pour rich, roasty, locally brewed stouts all month long every February. A five-person brewery team works tirelessly to craft at least 25 new stouts to delight dark beer enthusiasts.

CineCHEF at Boulder International Film Festival

April
Films, filmmakers and actors from around the world come to Boulder each year for this highly regarded and much-buzzed-about film fest. In addition to four days of screenings, workshops and panels, there's CineCHEF, a film-inspired chef competition and dining event. Taste cinema-based dishes while enjoying music, paired wines, local beers and desserts.

Taste of Pearl

April
Boulder restaurants pair up with local wineries and distilleries for a unique experience where participants stroll through downtown and sample food and drinks while perusing galleries and shopping at local boutiques.

Boulder Farmers Market

April-November
As a grower-only market, shoppers are guaranteed the best selection of locally grown, seasonal produce, eggs, cheeses, meats, herbs, flowers, wines and gourmet food products from Boulder County. Sample, shop, meet local farmers, smell the flowers, hear live music, sit by the creek and eat great food at this beloved market.

Boulder Taco Fest

August
Tacos, craft beer, tequila, lucha libre wrestling and live music come together each August in Boulder at one of locals' most beloved annual events — Boulder Taco Fest. Soak in the summer sunshine, have the best time with your crew and eat delicious food during this celebration of something everyone loves – tacos!

Groundworks Art Lab Chili Bowl

September
Chefs from local restaurants compete in a chili competition where guests can taste and vote for their favorite chili with the purchase of a bowl, plus shop for beautiful handmade pottery. Chili Bowl is Groundworks' annual fundraiser.

Boulder Burgundy Festival

October
Boulder Wine Merchant's annual festival that celebrates the wines of the Burgundy region in France. This non-profit events supports community causes and wine education and includes a winemaker dinner with a featured Burgundy estate, a “Paulée”-style lunch, educational seminars and tastings, and more. This is a great chance to taste high-end Burgundy in Boulder!

Oktoberfest

October
Located downtown, the authentic German beer garden Bohemian Biergarten has been bringing Bavarian traditions to Boulder at their annual Oktoberfest celebration for more than a decade. Local craft breweries come together to present an impressive selection of German-style lagers and ales, and the kitchen whips up special platters of brats, schnitzel, pretzels and more.

High West Oyster Fest

October
Jax Fish House supplies unlimited oysters on the half shell, passed hors d’oeuvres and curated bites during this evening of all things oyster. Attendees also enjoy a local DJ and cheer on contestants during the oyster shucking and eating competition. Proceeds benefit There With Care, a local charity that provides services to families in medical crisis.

Hotel Boulderado Holiday Tea Service

November-December
Delicate little finger sandwiches, tiered plates of sweets, and steaming pots of tea at Hotel Boulderado's Holiday Tea bring the magic of the holiday season to life. Set on the historic mezzanine overlooking the hotel lobby, with beautiful views of the hotel’s famous renovated stained glass canopy ceiling.
