Just 30 minutes up the road from the Centennial State’s bustling capital of Denver, the outdoor Shangri-la on the edge of the Rocky Mountain Front Range will deepen your breath (and drop your jaw, in all likelihood) the moment you catch a glimpse of the city’s trademark Flatiron peaks from Highway 36 as you begin your descent into Boulder Valley, 5,430 feet above sea level.
