The Boulder International Fringe Festival is an annual 12-day un-juried arts event packed with live theatre, dance, music, media art, cinema, circus art, visual art, spoken word, puppetry, workshops, special events and parties. The Boulder Fringe hosts artists, local and international that present a series of events and live performances in twelve days at venues throughout downtown Boulder.
The Fringe encourages audiences and artists alike to approach the arts with a feeling of spontaneity and willingness to take risks, experience life and live art in a fresh new way. For over 50 years International Fringe Festivals around the world have been generating an atmosphere of lively excitement and energy that engages the community. The Boulder International Fringe festival accords unique attention to what already exists in the community. Accessible to and created by all, it unifies people on a local and global scale, bringing citizens together in a broad array of family events, workshops, and commercial and cultural activity.
