Headed to the Chautauqua Trailhead to hike among the Flatirons in the summertime? Parking is extremely limited on weekends. We strongly recommend riding the free weekend shuttle to get there stress-free and to avoid parking fees.
The Park-to-Park weekend shuttle runs during summer only, Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day (May 25–Sept. 2, 2019).
Simply park for free at downtown parking garages, CU Regent lot or New Vista High School, and then hop on the shuttle. The Park-to-Park map, showing parking garages and shuttle stops, is below. More information available at ParktoPark.org.
Where the shuttle picks up downtown: The downtown shuttle stops at Pearl Street and 10th Street in front of Pasta Jay's. There are also 3 locations on Walnut Street: at 9th, 11th and 14th streets. Plus, all the parking garages downtown are free.
Special event route changes:
On Memorial Day, May 27, there is an alternate route. No pickup around Pearl Street due to the BolderBoulder race. No service at Regent Lot.
On July 5-6, there will be no service to Regent Lot due to the Dead & Company concert.

Parking: Paid parking ($2.50/hr) is very limited (you've been warned!) but is available in designated areas in and around Chautauqua. Another option is to take Lyft to/from Chautauqua. Download the Parkmobile app or the WaytoPark app to pay, or use the kiosks on Baseline, at the Ranger Cottage and near the Dining Hall to pay using your license plate.
Lyft: Receive $2.50 off (each way) summer Saturdays, Sundays and holidays all day with promo code: RIDETOHIKE2019.
Visiting Chautauqua before 8am or after 8pm on the weekend? Free Lyft rides between the CU-Regent or New Vista lot and Chautauqua are available from 6-8am and 8-11pm (before and after shuttle hours) with Lyft promo code: PARKTOPARK2019.
