Eldorado Canyon State Park (or "Eldo" to locals) is a hiking, fishing, picnicking and rock climbing heaven, just minutes from Boulder. However, parking is limited, and when it’s full, cars are turned away. Instead, take the free shuttle from Boulder to the park.
Pick up the shuttle from the University of Colorado Regent Lot (Broadway and Regent), or four other stops, and ride in comfort to the state park.
A parks pass is required for all passengers 16 and older to ride the shuttle into Eldorado Canyon State Park. How to pay:
There are five parking lots along the shuttle route where you can catch the free shuttle. All offer free* day parking.
CU Boulder/Regent Parking Lot
Broadway and 27th Way
Broadway and Dartmouth
SH 93 & SH 170
US 36 & McCaslin Park-N-Ride
Did you know you can get to other popular trailheads via buses from Boulder? Ride for free (or nearly free) and avoid parking hassles.
